Hi, I am Eric Cromer and I am here to talk about the new 2018 Chevrolet Volt. There’s a lot of talk today in the news about electric vehicles. The Volt made news in 2011 as the first practical electric vehicle. It’s an electric vehicle because it will go up to 53 miles on a full charge. That’s enough to cover most peoples daily commute. But say you have that unexpected side trip. Or maybe an unexpected trip out of town. The Volt will go up to 420 miles thanks to it’s onboard gas generator. Allowing you to find new roads. Inside its a modern and up to date Chevrolet. With a few Volt specific touches. The front display is going to show you your charge. Your fuel level and the total range available. The 8 inch MyLink display is where you will access your phone, your 4G wifi and a Volt specific display that’s going to show you charge and power flow. And don’t forget there’s a free app MyChevrolet.com. Allows you to check the charge status of your Volt and pre condition the interior from anywhere. The newest generation of the Volt has about 3 inches more leg room than the first gen. The premier model gets you heated rear seats. There’s also a power outlet, cup holders, room for three and a fold down center arm rest. Out in back we have 10.9 cubic feet of storage space. Easily expanded with the split folding rear seat. It’s all accessible with the big hatchback design. There’s also a storage area for the 110v power cord. This is Eric Cromer with ELCO Chevrolet. Thanks for checking out the Volt and I’ll see you in the showroom!
